No matter how much we adore our sisters, the built-in besties who have been by our sides since day one, there will always be some sort of unspoken competition or comparison, if not between the sisters themselves, it will likely be delivered by those around them.

Whether their secret weapon is beauty or brains, personality or 'aura', no two people will ever be held to identical standards for every category. So, comparing yourself to another person, especially your own sister, is forever a losing game. 

Because there is only one her…but great news, there is only one of you, too!

So when this certain sister is left feeling invisible, as a result of her sister's overwhelming beauty and the compelling attention she is constantly receiving from the men around them. She decides that her only viable option to maintain a sliver of her self-esteem would be to distance herself from her sister in any mutual social settings.

However, some would agree that if we love our sisters beyond explanation, why would we want to distance ourselves from them?

Because at the end of the day, it's essential to uncover what holds more value to us in the long run: a bright, shiny spotlight dangling over our heads, or the unbreakable bond of sisterhood?
